Sectaurs Cartoon

In 1985, The Sectaurs even had their own cartoon show in syndication. The first episode, called "Spidrax attacks" was released in syndication on September 14 1985. Produced by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears (Ruby-Spears production), this show had a small run of only 5 episodes.

In June 2003, I contacted Ruby-Spears Production to know if they were still holding the rights to these episodes and if there was any way to get our hands on the episodes in any available format. They told me that they unfortunately didn't have anything laying around about this short serie they produced back in 1985, and that all the rights to the five Sectaurs episodes that Ruby-Spears produced were acquired by AOL TimeWarner/Cartoon Network some time ago. So, maybe there's hope to see a rerelease on Cartoon Network in a near future. Here's the list of the 5 Sectaurs episodes, along with their original release date:
